We, Advanced Connectek Inc. so called ACON, has developed breakthrough, innovative and patented LED technology successfully, called LED T-Tech, which AC power could be connected directly to DC LED, and has the following advantages:

LED T-Tech has been applied to LED lighting products including 6W LED light bulbs, 8W (2ft) and 16W (4ft) LED T8 light tubes, 8W LED light bars(Water-proof and -40 degree C resistance for refrigeration cars and warehouses), LED hanging lamps 24W Aviva and 48W Book, without adaptor. LED Road lamp Platinum, LED street lamp Twist, LED ceiling panel light, LED T5 light tubes and LED desk lamp Y using LED T-Tech are under development.

Traditional LED technology is based on AC power + Adaptor or Bridge + Constant Current + Drive IC + DC LED, with this technology, power factor losses 15% in adaptor and 10% in drive IC, power factor losses in total more than 25%. Adaptor is limited to life time 20,000 hours and can not resist high temperature over 60 degree C and low temperature -40 degree C.

AC Power + AC LED technology has better power factor 90% around, but has three disadvantages, glistening not good for reading, heat generated using resistor inside, and AC LED is two times cost of DC LED.
